"Lindenau Re-Visited" is an exploration of urban development, transformation and time. 10 years after 2007, when Diana and Hermann created "Movements of Lindenau" as a performance investigating the rhythms, movements and sounds of Leipzig Lindenau, they are now coming back to the same places, developing their site-specific exploration further into a performative long- time observation. Revisiting the formerly shrinking quarter that is now rapidly growing, the famous questions are: In what way has the atmosphere and spatial structure of the changed?
To what extent are these changes and dynamics noticeable in terms of rhythm? Revisiting both a performance and a quarter of a city, the famous questions are: In what way has the atmosphere and spatial structure changed over time? To what extent are these dynamics noticeable in terms of rhythm? And how does our position as observers change?
The performances are accompanied by a public walk through Leipzig- Lindenau, developed in collaboration with Students of the Institute of Theatre Studies at Leipzig University
